1957 Buddy L No. 5840 Sit-N-Ride Towing Service Wrecker in Original Box
Superb unused Buddy L Towing Service Wrecker, “Sit-n-Ride†version in near mint condition. Purchased from the original owner. Assembled once or twice and then stored. Complete with original box, insert, all accessories and instructions. All pressed steel; brilliant white paint truck with original door decals, painted wheel centers, and cherry red removable seat, boom, and steering wheel. Even has its original cotter pin. Steering column has its original rubber bulb bicycle horn with chrome plated grille. Boom has its original die cast tow hook, braided cord, and chrome plated crank. This says is all…. “Youngsters ride to the rescue on the strong steel seat…round corners smoothly with automotive type steering….pull up at the scene of the “wreck†with horn screeching realistically. Towing is easy with hook and winch on the sturdy boom. When he tires of towing, child is set for a new game in seconds. Seat and boom come off to convert wrecker to hauler!
